Adolescent Sexuality Education

Sexuality is a dimension of life experienced in thoughts, feelings and practices. It is the total behavior of who we are as human beings – the way we see ourselves, our feelings, thoughts, actions, as well as how we relate with those of the same and opposite sex. Hence, young people developing comfort and confidence about sexuality is an integral part of growing up – influenced by individual, family, and social factors and experiences. RDF recognizes that it is a matter of human right for young people to obtain full and accurate information, education, and services regarding their sexuality, so that they grow up seeing sexuality as a natural and positive part of life. Our comprehensive curriculum on sexuality education for in-school and out of school youth is helping them develop confidence and positive self-image.
